Meet Annalise
Hi! Welcome to my website. I'm really glad you've arrived. I'd love to help you find the perfect home for you.
So what does adventure begins at home mean? I love where I live. I'm fortunate to have grown up in the SF Bay Area, specifically Marin and Sonoma County. Marin and Sonoma County are visually stunning with jaw-dropping landscapes, protected lands, lots of adventures (inland to the coast), and of course, fantastic food and wine. I experience these adventures every day and love talking about them.
I guess I'm enthusiastic about why living in this region brings such a high quality of life. There are some real hidden gems in Marin and Sonoma counties. Everything from the bohemian feel of Fairfax where hiking Mt. Tam is at your fingertips to the fresh salty air at Bodega Bay where you can surf to the artisan wineries of Sonoma County to homemade cheese makers at Pt. Reyes Station. And that's just a teeny weeny bit of it. I'm happy to help you find a home where you'd like to adventure!
I do have a couple of specialties that I'd love to help you with.
Another of my specialties is country properties. I grew up in a vineyard and I'm very familiar with vineyard life. My family had a vineyard in Boonville, CA, about an hour North and West of Santa Rosa. I didn't much like being up there on the weekends when I was 16 futzing with the theodolite. But it instilled in me a connection and appreciation for the life lessons when working with land, soil, clean air, and the stillness of nobody around you for miles.
In West Marin County are properties near Inverness, Stinson Beach, Pt Reyes Station, Dillon Beach, and West of Petaluma. These properties don't come on the market very often, so if you have a penchant for West Marin let me know and I'll check my sources for off-market properties.
If you like West Marin but want to be closer, West of Fairfax is a few towns that are 'country living' in San Geronimo Valley. Like Woodacre, Lagunitas-Forest Knolls and San Geronimo.
The country property in Sonoma County is abundant. Vineyard Estates, small acreage properties .5 -1 acre, 3-10 acre properties, and country homes with large parcels frequently come on the market. We don't have a specific search function for homes with vineyards, but I keep track of them. So call me and I'll send you a list.
Lastly, I love homes with charm and character! I'm dying to buy one and remodel it as I watch too many of those 'restore' diy shows. Both Marin and Sonoma still have many older homes. Typically they're surrounding the downtown areas but many of the country properties have older homes as well. Both Petaluma and Santa Rosa still have homes designated 'historical' along with architectural committees that guide the homeowner on what can be changed and what can't. If you're in search of a home with charm, check these out! Vintage Homes up to $2M and vintage homes over $2M.
Alright then, that's a lot about me you've learned. What you don't know is I'm all about your quality of life and how that pertains to your property purchase. I've worked with clients who've searched for years and clients who are ready tomorrow. Don't wait to call me, you never know what property I just saw that might be just what you're looking for.
What do I do when I'm not doing real estate? Hike with Winston and Coconut (dogs), try to sew a bespoke wardrobe, learn to cook all over again (ask me about that), and drop in on some obscure little winery that nobody knows about.
